We are surrounded by Nature, we are inside Nature and we are Nature. So poetically, it is easy to see why I am creating Art for Nature. Creating my own art project affords me the space to do what I love most on multiple levels: Creating Nature inspired art, loving and living in Nature.<\/p>
More practically and urgently, though: Rewilding has become a well-known concept around the globe over the past few years, and with good reason. We are currently observing the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration<\/u><\/a> 2021-2030, and in this, the Great Work of our Time<\/u><\/a>, every little bit counts. We need to protect what natural ecosystems we have left and restore those that the human way of life have broken.<\/p> Since 2019, I have been living on a forested mountain, farm from towns, on the edge of the bushveld region that is home of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. Here, I am slowly restoring the degraded ecosystems of my old family farm.<\/u><\/a><\/p> This shop is a creative culmination of my love of Art, Nature and the Mythological heritage left to us by the Ancients, as well as my belief that choosing the sustainable option wherever possible is not just a nice to have, but our duty to every Creature on Earth.
